Client Spotlight: QFA LLC

QFA LLC is an investment advisory firm in Naples, Florida, whose focus is to generate significant cash flow for their clients through their proprietary ETF-Hedged Covered Call program. Blue Turtle Graphics was contacted by QFA LLC for the following services:

  • Logo design
  • Print materials (letterhead, business cards, pocket folder and brochure inserts)
  • Powerpoint presentation background with their branding
  • Custom web design
  • Content Management System (CMS)
  • Flash animation
  • jQuery pop-up boxes and navigation menu

Our first order of business was to design a logo that represents the ever-changeing market that creates cash flow for QFA’s clients. We used 3 vertical bars of a stock chart with a volatility line to show the market ups and downs.

Once the logo design was established, it was time to create the print materials. QFA needed a standard size pocket folder designed to hold five 8.5 x 11 inserts as well as additional materials to be added later. Using the black and gold colors from the logo, we came up with a creme-colored stripe background. This background worked well to keep with the low-key, non-flashy image the company wanted to portray. Adding a few monotone gold images of bar charts and graphs at the bottom completed the look. From this new look, we created an insert template to use for the 5 loose inserts: Welcome, Strategy, Commentary, Our Team and FAQs.

For the website, QFA wanted a main splash page from which their clients and prospective clients could navigate to one of two separate tracts depending on whether they were an Individual Investor or Financial Professional. A logo flash animation is used for added interest to this page. Once a visitor chooses either Individual or Professional, they land on the home page for the respective path and can navigate that area of the website. QFA wanted to have a lot of information available for their visitors, however, they wanted to keep the site clean and organized and easy to navigate. We used the sidebar area with different buttons to offer the information in pop-up windows allowing a user to view the content without leaving the page.  Types of information available varies from stock charts, QFA Scorecard, educational links (QFA University) to a Download Center where their brochure inserts and Advisory Agreement can be downloaded in PDF format. The website is a custom design that also has a Content Management System (CMS) so they can keep their information up to date. You can view the QFA website at www.qfallc.com.
